Pro-Fast Painting
Integrated Marketing

In seven years Pro-Fast Painting has become one of the largest painting contractors in New England. So, what's the next step in growth? Take advantage of the $300 billion a year home improvement industry by applying their successful business model to franchises.

A major component that entreprenuers purchase when entering a franchise is a professional brand, set of design standards, and integrated marketing services. To start off on the right foot, Pro-Fast Painting retained Ovoo Creative to: conduct market research, create a logo and style guide, build Web sites for the painting and franchising businesses that sells services through online advertising and tracks ROI on traditional direct mail or advertising campaigns, design marketing collateral, and apply the brand to signage and imprintables.

This is an ongoing project that will grow as we strengthen the brand recognition of Pro-Fast Painting and help entrepreneurs apply the company's profitable business plan to their franchises.

Windham Land Trust
Web Site

The Windham Land Trust was founded in 2000 to preserve a parcel of land slated for a 41-house subdivision. In less than a decade, the Land Trust's membership, fundraising, land stewardship, and preservation activities have grown in scope and complexity. Now faced with a growing list of responsibilities and a capital campaign in progress, the Windham Land Trust, in need of both financial and volunteer resources, is working to build public awareness of its overall mission and how it benefits the community at large.

A conservation-minded Windham resident, Ovoo Creative's creative director, Patrick Corey serves as a Windham Land Trust board member who's primary focus is on helping the Land Trust meet its fundraising and public awareness goals. Ongoing activities include: building a cohesive and recognizable identity, strengthening the overall appearance of both fundraising and marketing collateral, and the design and development of a Web site that serves as the Land Trust’s chief information portal.

The Windham Land Trust Web site provides the public-at-large, membership, and benefactors with up-to-date events and news, information about properties, the lowdown on the organization, giving opportunities, and the ability to make secure donations online while maintaining a seamless look and feel.

Simsbury Land Trust Web Site

The original Simsbury (Connecticut) Land Trust Web site was designed and built by students as part of a practical learning opportunity. While the Web site served the Land Trust for a few years it soon became apparent that the site did not fulfill many of the Land Trust's administrative and marketing needs, including the ability to receive donations online, being able to present content using a robust framework, and more professional aesthetics.

Ovoo Creative developed a Web site for the Simsbury Land Trust that provides membership, colleagues, the general public, and patrons with an online resource for up-to-date events and news, the ability to join and give online, maps and trails, and general Land Trust information. The Web site integrates the Simsbury Land Trust's abundant content, has the ability to track visitation to gauge ROI, and can be easily updated by office staff and volunteers. The site maintains a professional level of modesty in the overall design while performing important giving functions.

Saint Joseph's College of Maine Athletics Identity

The 2006-2007 academic year brought a lot of changes to Saint Joseph's College of Maine Athletics. Record enrollment, the first-ever full time membership in a NCAA Division III conference, and a new Athletics identity. The College had been through a number of logos since becoming the Monks in 1970 and needed an easily reproducable and recognizable logo that the Athletics program could pin their accomplishments on. The proposed logo would need to speak of strength, professionalism, confidence, and pay homage to the College's roots.

Ovoo Creative put together an identity system to help build Athletics program recognition. A new mascot logo in addtion to a series of sub-marks was created and tools were provided for College staff to successfully launch their brand including a user-friendly identity guide and package of electronic logos in a variety of formats. Focused on creating a memorable mark and creating usage standards, Ovoo Creative has created a system with which Saint Joseph's College of Maine Athletics can build brand equity over time.

Munroe Dairy Integrated Marketing

We began working with Munroe Dairy in 2002. Our first task was to review their overall marketing and make suggestions on how to integrate each promotion to get the best return on investment for marketing dollars spent.

After reviewing the customer base and auditing existing marketing materials, an appealing new look was created. The monthly flyers now highlighted products with professional photography and graphics. Marketing materials for special promotions were elevated with branding continuity and style.

To gain new customers, we collaborated with the Dairy to create unique approaches to PR, special events, promotions, and advertising.

In 2006 Ovoo Creative developed a new logo to celebrate the Dairy's 125th Anniversary, with over a century of history, we were able to create a commemorative pictorial calendar complete with stories from third generation employees and family members. Today, the logo is used without the tagline to build on the promotions around the anniversary.

Our Press Release prompted an article highlighting home delivery and Munroe Dairy's extensive range of products, not just milk and dairy as many people assume. Ovoo Creative's efforts resulted in this front page feature story in the Food Section of the Providence Journal and helped the Dairy acquire an estimate of 100 new customers.
